Penetanguishene is located approximately 150 kilometres north of Toronto. Take Highway 400 north to Highway 93, then follow Highway 93 north directly into Penetanguishene. The drive from downtown Toronto takes approximately 90 minutes to two hours depending on traffic conditions.
From Ottawa, take Highway 417 west to Highway 400 south, then follow Highway 93 north. The drive is approximately four to four and a half hours.
Penetanguishene is approximately 60 kilometres north of Barrie via Highway 93. The drive takes about 45 minutes.
Penetanguishene harbour welcomes visiting boats from across the Great Lakes. Transient docking is available at the Town Dock with water, power, pump-out, and washroom facilities. Several full-service marinas in the harbour offer additional slip space for visiting vessels.
Summer (June-September): Open daily, extended hours
Fall & Spring: Weekdays with limited weekend hours
Winter: By appointment and during Winterama festival
